Grace planned to study business administration as an Honors Carolina student after being accepted to UNC’s fiercely competitive Kenan-Flagler Business School. She joined Theta Tau Chapter in the fall of 2022, quickly getting active and acting as the Director of the Sisterhood for her chapter.
A talented young lady from Charlotte named Grace Burton had lofty aspirations for what she could accomplish via college. She was an advocate for her community and believed that education could be used to make a beneficial impact on people’s lives.
She was committed to ensuring everyone had access to high-quality education regardless of their social or economic circumstances. She worked as a volunteer for several organizations while attending UNC-Chapel Hill, including food banks and Habitat for Humanity in the Raleigh-Durham region.
